Video: Arizona’s Imprisonment Crisis – Why is this happening?

Arizona has an imprisonment crisis. The Grand Canyon State has the fourth highest imprisonment rate in the country, trailing only Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. Today, there are over 42,000 people imprisoned in the state — that’s as many people as there are students at the University of Arizona. Why is this happening?
