FWD.us on District Court’s Decision to Preserve the President’s Parole Policy for Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela

“With this decision, all three branches of government support the legality and impact of the President’s parole pathways.”

WASHINGTON, DC – FWD.us President Todd Schulte issued the following statement today after a district court ruled in favor of preserving President Biden’s parole policy for Cuba, Haiti, Nicaragua, and Venezuela:

“This decision is a clear win and affirmation of humanitarian immigration parole being an indispensable, necessary and model program of the type of smart solutions we should be focusing on to relieve pressure on the border and modernize our failed immigration system. Today’s decision comes on the heels of the Senate bipartisan border and immigration proposal, which also affirmed these pathways, including them as a critical tool to improve conditions at the border.”

“Legal pathways including the CHNV program are working to reduce unauthorized migration, helping vulnerable people seeking safety, and strengthening U.S. communities and our workforce. With this decision, all three branches of government support the legality and impact of the President’s parole pathways.”
