Hardworking immigrants from Liberia have contributed to American communities for decades as business owners, teachers, and health care workers. They have contributed to the cultural and economic strength of American neighborhoods.

Yatta is a Liberian DED holder who has lived in the U.S. since she was six years old. This year, she’s close to earning her Ph.D. at UCLA. She may not get the chance, however, because Congress still needs to act to permanently protect Yatta and 4,000 fellow DED holders from the imminent threat of deportation. Yatta could be sent back to a country she’s never known.

Call Congress and tell them to pass permanent protections for DED holders like Yatta, and for Dreamers and TPS holders.
