FWD.us Statement on Fourth Circuit Ruling on DACA

WASHINGTON, DC – FWD.us President Todd Schulte issued the following statement today after the Fourth Circuit issued a ruling vacating the Trump Administration’s rescission of the DACA program:

“The Fourth Circuit’s ruling is another rejection of the Trump Administration’s repeated attempts to end DACA, and reaffirms what multiple courts have said: The Trump Administration’s termination of the DACA program was unlawful. The Administration’s decision to pursue the end of this vital program and disrupt the lives of 800,000 young people who grew up in America is deeply disturbing. It also further underscores the urgent need for Congress to pass – and the President to sign – legislation to protect Dreamers permanently, starting with the Dream and Promise Act. There is no reason to delay.”

Background
