FWD.us Statement on Federal Judge’s Order Granting a Classwide Preliminary Injunction Against the Administration’s Attempts to End Birthright Citizenship

WASHINGTON, D.C. – FWD.us President Todd Schulte issued the following statement after a federal judge in New Hampshire granted a classwide preliminary injunction that will block President Trump from enforcing his birthright citizenship executive order:

“We welcome today's court decision, which is set to block President Trump’s executive order against birthright citizenship in a week. It reinforces what we have always known: birthright citizenship is a foundational commitment enshrined in the Constitution. Any attempt to dismantle it undermines core constitutional protections and will continue to face strong public resistance and fly against clearly established law. We are grateful for the strength of those individuals potentially impacted by this illegal executive order and for their courage in defending the rights of every child born in this country.”
