“We are encouraged by the bipartisan amendments and momentum — like the proposal by Senators Gardner and Bennet — in the Senate to protect Dreamers and increase border security – without harmful cuts to legal immigration. We thank these lawmakers and hope lawmakers on both sides of the aisle will continue these productive efforts. No bill will be perfect, but inaction is not an option. Each day that passes is one day closer to March 5th, and one day closer to deporting young people to countries they barely know. Dreamers need Congress to do their jobs and work together to get this done.”
