There are approximately 14 million undocumented immigrants and immigrants with temporary status who currently live in the United States. Many have started businesses, raised families, served in the military, and called this country home for decades.

These 14 million people face unprecedented threats, including renewed risks of deportation, loss of work authorization, family separation, and restricted access to basic services and education. Even those who have qualified for relief through programs like Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) or Temporary Protected Status (TPS) are at risk of losing their status, sometimes with little more than the stroke of a pen. This is despite the fact that a supermajority of Americans support creating an earned pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants.

At this defining time, we’re working to protect millions of immigrants from these threats while laying the groundwork for a long-term pathway to citizenship.
