Tell the Senate: Oppose Chad Wolf

As Acting Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Chad Wolf was an architect of the Trump Administration’s horrific policy of separating families at the southern border. And now, the Senate Homeland Security Committee is finally considering his nomination to officially lead DHS — we can’t let that happen.

Under Wolf’s leadership, we have heard disturbing reports of alleged mass sterilization of women in immigration detention without proper consent. Wolf also did everything he could to end DACA, and then was in open defiance of the Supreme Court when it told him to issue new applications.

It’s clear. Wolf is simply unfit for service and the United States deserves much, much better. The Senate Homeland Security Committee will vote today on Wolf’s nomination, and senators on the committee must oppose his official nomination.
