Commit to Call: Protect Dreamers Now

President Biden and Congressional Leaders have indicated their support for including a pathway to citizenship for undocumented immigrants during the budget reconciliation process. Now, every senator needs to know that we must keep a pathway to citizenship for Dreamers and others in this bill.

Only Congress can provide a pathway to citizenship to provide permanent protections to Dreamers, TPS holders, farm workers, and essential workers once and for all. We can’t wait any longer. 

The 700,000 DACA recipients in the United States are our friends, our families, and part of our communities. They are living, working, and contributing to the only country most of them have known. They’re the parents of more than 250,000 U.S. citizen children, and 200,000 are essential workers helping us recover from the COVID-19 pandemic. 

DACA recipients, TPS holders, farm workers, and essential workers have been forced to live with for years for years. Now, it is time for Congress to act.
