Call your representative now: Demand bold, meaningful sentencing reform

Arizona has some of the longest prison sentences in the country, but pending legislation could change that. These long sentences are driven by an unfair law mandating that people serve 85 percent of their sentence, no matter what. Arizona is one of only three states with a law like this.

House Bill 2270 would allow people to earn their way home from prison sooner for following the rules and participating in programming.
