Join FWD.us and Joynture for a night that examines how film and photography is being used to shape the narrative around immigration and policy reform. Storytelling is playing a critical role in reshaping perspectives around this debate, and this event will be an exploration of how these two mediums can be powerful tools in the push for reform.

The event will feature:

  • A complimentary professional photoshoot by FWD.us, during which attendees can share their own immigrant heritage.
  • Remarks by Mikaela Shwer, Brian Redondo, and Roy Germano, on working with film to help focus the national conversation around immigration reform.
  • A live viewing of the CNN premiere of Documented by Jose Antonio Vargas.

There will time to network and share stories as well. Light refreshments will be served.
