This June marks the third annual Immigrant Heritage Month -- join the celebration! The FWD.us New York Chapter, along with its esteemed parters, has organized a month-long display of immigrant art at Governor Cuomo's Office of New Americans. On June 8th at 7pm, we will launch the show with the artists to celebrate their heritage through various pieces.

Our artists include alumni from New York Foundation for the Arts Immigrant Artists Program: Eleen Lin (Taiwan), JoJo Julio Jose Austria (Philippines), Sophia Chizuco (Japan), and Suyeon Na (Korea).

We're pleased to also include pieces from the Creative Action Network's We Were Strangers Too Collection. Stop by the DreamAfrica table to interact with video animation from their story collection. Tope Idowu, a special guest, contributor to DreamAfrica, and a star film-maker will also be in attendance.

Special thanks to Tetsu Hiro, FWD Chapter Ambassador for curating this event.

A Big Thank You to our Partners:
