About Our Chapter
The city of Miami, nicknamed the “Capital of Latin America,” is the second largest city with a Spanish-speaking majority in the nation. Home to many immigrants from Haiti, Latin America, and Cuba, the metropolitan Miami area is the heart of one of the most highly affected regions in the nation in terms of immigrants struggling to work their way through our broken immigration system.
Our Miami FWD.us chapter is here to continue raising awareness of this struggle and the many benefits that immigration reform would bring to South Florida as well as the country.
FWDMonthly is held once a month to engage in advocacy, hear from guest speakers, and explore the intersection of tech and politics. From devising innovative ways to connect constituents to Congress, to amplifying compelling local narratives, your efforts will be critical to our success.
We're working on planning some great events!
